Benzel_less: Xiaomi Mi Note 2 coming October 25

We’ve seen two separate sets of spy shots of theXiaomi Mi Note 2and they were framed in a way that focused on the curved screen.

A new batch shows the true killer feature - the bezel-less design.

You can almost see it in the previous shots, but this one makes it clear - there’s only an almost non-existent border around the top andsides of the big 5.7” screen.

Rumors should always be taken with a pinch of salt, but you only need enough salt to last you until October 25.

Xiaomi took to its official Weibo account to post a teaser image that reveals the date and nothing more.

Official teaser imageLuckily, we have the rumor millto fill in the blanks.

There seems to be a two-way split in specs - one version will have a 5.7” 1080p screen, 4GB of RAM plus 64GB storage, while the otherwill go up to a QHD screen and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage (or even 256GB).

Both versions should share in a dual 16MP camera, Snapdragon 821 chipsetand a 4,000mAh battery somehow stuffed into a body only 6.5mm thick. Good luck, Xiaomi, we will be watching.

Rwanda begins Zipline commercialdrone deliveries

What is being hailed as the world's first commercial regular drone delivery service is beginning drop-offs in Rwanda.

The operation uses fixed-wing drones that automatically fly to destinations in the central African nation.

They release small packages attached to parachutes without needing to land atthe delivery points before returning.

The technology promises to make deliveries much faster than had h been possible by road.

Zipline - the US start-up running the project - is made up of engineers who formerly worked at Space X, Google, Lockheed Martin and other tech companies.

Its drones will initially be used to deliver blood, plasma, and coagulants to hospitals across rural western Rwanda, helping to cut waiting times from hours to minutes.

The aircraft are launched from a catapultand fly below 500ft (152m) to avoid the airspace used by passenger planes.

They have an operational range of 150km (93 miles) but could, in theory, flyalmost twice that distance.

The drones are powered by a nose-mounted battery and guide themselves using GPS location data.

They send back information to both theirbase and to Rwandan air traffic control via a cellular connection. To begin with, 15 "zips" will fly round theclock and in up to 30km/h (19mph) winds and light rain if necessary.Zipline will be paid by Rwanda's health department on a per delivery basis.

The company says the cost per trip is roughly equal to that of the current delivery method, by motorbike or ambulance.A wide variety of companies - including Amazon, DHL and Singapore Post - havedemonstrated drone deliveries elsewhere that use aircraft that can touch down at both ends of their journey. But one expert praised Zipline's stay-in-the-air approach.

"This avoids the risk of recipients getting in the way of rotating blades," said Dr Ravi Vaidyanathan, from ImperialCollege London.

"So long as there is no prospect of a plane falling from the sky and there is nodanger posed by a package dropping on to anyone, then this sounds like a positive environment to begin drone deliveries.

"Drones have already been used for humanitarian purposes elsewhere in Africa, including in a now-ended project to deliver blood and stool samples in Madagascar, and a Red Cross initiative to monitor a refugee camp in Uganda. But some aid workers have expressed concern that they are not always appropriate.

"Whether we like it or not, UAVs [unmanned aerial vehicles] are confusedwith weaponised drones and are perceived by the general public as related to military operations and/or intelligence gathering," one Congo-based worker told a studycarried out by a Swiss foundation.

"In countries and contexts with conflict environment, it is illusory to imagine thatthe general public, authorities and the armed actors will make a distinction between good 'humanitarian/civilian' drones and bad 'military' drones.

"Although Rwanda's military has shown interest in Zipline's work, the country's information and communications technology minister has said it has no plans for the defence department to use the technology.

Samsung Stop The Production of Galaxy Note 7

At this point in time, it is safe to say thatSamsung Galaxy Note 7is the worst thing that has ever happened in the history of Android hardwares.

Samsung should be bowing their head to shame and disgrace right now after series explosions caused by the suppose Note 7.

Even the replacements are not safe for use.American carriers T-Mobile and AT&T are no longer selling the device, all four major carriers are accepting unconditional exchanges.

Korean new AgencyYonhapreported earlier Monday morning that Samsunghasstopped the production of Galaxy Note 7.

The halt is apparently temporary. Samsung has declined to comment on the story when asked by international news agencies.

The Note 7 was a great phone, but at this stage the damage is terminal. Where Samsung goes from here is not clear.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is an unprecedented attack on humanity and Android users at large.
